How Are Dildos Measured

We read and hear so much about the girth and the length and all other kinds of descriptive measurements when we are looking at dildos but what does it actually mean? Have you ever been confused between the length and the insertable length of a dildo? Between the girth and circumference? Well, I certainly have and I want to help you understand all of this jargon.

Simplifying it in a way so that you can understand and see the exact size that you want because you know your own body better than anybody else. Nobody wants to order a 10-inch dildo only to find themselves with just 7 inches of actual length now do they?

Length: This is referring to the length of the full dildo, from base to tip. This should be specified whether this is all entirely insertable or not. The length is the entirety of the dildo as it is presented to you.

Insertable Length: When a dildo specifies an insertable length, pay attention. This is the amount that is actually able to go inside of you. If you’re looking at 12-inch dildos and only 6 inches of it is insertable you are going to be disappointed.

Width: The width often gets confused with the girth but when talking about dildos the width is referring to the space from one side of the dildo to the other. Generally, we see dildo widths larger than those of an ordinary penis.

• ATM card size (3.37 in × 2.12in)

As you can see so many household items would make pretty decent dildo sizes and by just looking and comparing you will see what looks too small or too big for you. Most items are easily measured so there should be no surprises when your dildo does arrive.

Measuring Yourself Up

If you have a dildo or other safe-to-use household objects, then what you can do is get yourself aroused, grab a tape measure or measuring device handy, insert the dildo/object until you feel the best sensation, mark it with your finger, take it out and measure up to see your ideal size.

How Deep Is A Vagina/Anus?

Vaginally: This can change depending on arousal and genetics, but in most cases, you should be able to accommodate most sizes (remember what vaginas are inherently designed for!), however, the size that is comfortable and feels good to you will be based solely on your preference. The Biggest Dildo You Can Get Right Now

You can get dildos of any size, this is one of the largest in length dildos that I own. But the reality is that the biggest usable size vaginally is around 18 – 20 inches, even though I don’t think many could physically fit it inside, however, one of the biggest if not the biggest retailed dildo is over 30 inches long and is called the moby dick, sadly this just isn’t usable, even for a size lover like me if you see the girth of it.

For anal use, you will find some that are like actual snakes that measure upwards of 30 inches but again there is no way it would all physically fit and these are certainly niche products!
